Join your North Carolina Women of the ELCA sisters as we travel to San Antonio, Texas for the Sixth Triennial Gathering, July 5-10, 2005. Our trip is planned in conjunction with Christian Tours of Newton, North Carolina.

SCHEDULE AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THE TRIENNIAL GATHERING WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE CHURCHWIDE WOMEN'S ORGANIZATION (CWO) IN JANUARY 2005. NOTE: Each person is responsible for her own registration for the triennial gathering and activities.

GETTING THERE

We will fly to San Antonio by commercial airline.  Space has been reserved on American Airlines according to this schedule.  In order to get the special group fare, there must be a minimum of 10 passengers on the flight.

NOTE:   Prices per person listed previously were for earlier flights July 10. These prices allow time for the Sunday Worship Service before departing.

These prices are based on a minimum of 10 passengers per flight. A deposit of $100 per person is due with their reservation. Flight reservations need to be made before April 1, 2005. Individuals who book flights after April 1, 2005 are subject to an increase cost. Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.

A $50 penalty will be charged for cancellations between April 1 and June 1, 2005. Full penalty will begin on June 2, 2005.

STAYING THERE
We will stay at the AmeriSuites Riverwalk, 601 South St. Mary's Street, San Antonio; Phone: 210-227-6854.

Each suite has two queen-size beds so up to four people can stay in a suite. Each suite also includes mini-kitchen facilities (with refrigerator and microwave), iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and dataports. The hotel has a fitness center, heated outdoor pool, laundry facilities, and provides a free 'Bountiful Breakfast Buffet'.

The price includes motorcoach transportation from/to the airport in San Antonio, luggage handling for one piece of luggage per person, five nights at AmeriSuites Riverwalk, transportation for one full day of touring attractions, and services of a Christian Tours convention representative.

ENJOYING SAN ANTONIO
Official opening of the triennial gathering is scheduled for Wednesday evening, July 6, 2005, which allows us the day for sight seeing. A deluxe, late-model motorcoach will be available to transport us to attractions surrounding San Antonio. Details about this day of fun and fellowship will be sent to all those who register for the trip.

Many of the most famous attractions in San Antonio are located within walking distance from our hotel, including the Alamo, the Imax Theater, Tower of the Americas, Institute of Texan Cultures, the Torch of Friendship, Buckhorn Saloon and Museum, and many theaters, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. Our Christian Tours convention representative can help with group reservations once we are in San Antonio and know when the triennial schedule allows free time.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
A deposit of $50 per person is due with the reservation. For your convenience, please use the attached reservation form. Christian Tours will accept partial payments at any time. Each time you send a payment, you will receive a receipt showing credit for the payment and balance remaining.

Final payment is due by May 31, 2005. Full payment will be refunded if you cancel by June 10, 2005. Penalties will incur for cancellations made after June 10 if space cannot be resold.

Christian Tours accepts payment by VISA, Master Charge, and Discover as well as check or money order. All payments should be sent to Christian Tours, Post Office Box 890, Newton, NC 28658.
